About Us
Our Story
Many adults have reflected…
“If I were diagnosed as a child, it would have made a world of difference in my life”.
Next Generation Psychology is a psychological service dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and their families find answers. We want children and adolescents to recognise their full potential, and provide them with the support they need to set them up for life. We understand it can be liberating to learn more about oneself and normalise what individuals and families are experiencing.
We have extensive experience providing therapy and assessments for children and adolescents. We practice from a family systems framework, and aim to include parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process. We utilise different therapy modalities that meet the needs of the individual.
We offer different types of assessments, including Autism and ADHD assessments. Our comprehensive assessment reports can be utilised to access greater support, such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). In addition, our cognitive and academic assessments, and school-based observations, can be beneficial in building stronger relationships between schools and families, and can guide learning plans, therapy, and recommend strategies in the school environment. We know the benefit of identifying cognitive and academic strengths and weaknesses so that schools can better support your child.
We provide therapy and assessments that are individually tailored and take into account the whole individual. We are dedicated to ensuring our services are delivered in a timely manner, in a neurodiverse friendly environment, and with no hidden costs.
Our professionals have lived experience and can empathise with the importance of self-awareness. That’s why we are passionate about working with all children to support greater self-discovery.
We believe every child and adolescent should get the support they need, and we are here to help.
